An award-winning designer and artist for over 40 years, Sandra Rubel produced one-of-a-kind handpainted garments, jewelry, accessories, and paintings of her beloved city, New York. She lived less than 100 feet from the World Trade Center and continued to produce new work until her death in 2015.
